Confusion forces a Pokémon to sometimes attack itself instead of executing the selected move for a random 2-5 turns (this includes a Pokémon attempting to use Snore or Sleep Talk while asleep).
Asleep. If a Pokémon is Asleep, it cannot attack or retreat by itself. It must also be turned sideways (usually counterclockwise). After each turn, if a player's Pokémon is Asleep, the player must flip a coin: if heads, the Asleep Pokémon "wakes up" and is no longer affected by the Special Condition.
Sleep Powder is best for offense because it completely disables an opponent to use as setup bait, while Stun Spore is best for balance because it slows down fast wallbreakers for slower attackers. Its chances to fully paralyze are also very helpful when dealing with walls to prevent them from recovering.
A process called sterilization destroys spores and bacteria. It is done at high temperature and under high pressure. In health care settings, sterilization of instruments is usually done using a machine called an autoclave.
Out of these three microbial types, spore forms of bacteria are the most difficult to kill. Spore forms of bacteria are hard to destroy because bacterial endospores can survive temperatures up to 150°C and as low as near absolute zero.
Own Tempo prevents the Pokémon from being afflicted by confusion, even if it is self-inflicted (such as from moves like Thrash or items like the Iapapa Berry).
Put `Em to Sleep

Spore resistance to wet heat is determined largely by the water content of spore core, which is much lower than that in the growing cell protoplast. A lower core water content generally gives more wet heat-resistant spores.
Bacteria is killed at 100°C and above (boiling point). Bacteria definately won't grow at -18°C (freezer temperature), but might still stay live.
Viruses are even smaller than bacteria and require living hosts — such as people, plants or animals — to multiply. Otherwise, they can't survive. When a virus enters your body, it invades some of your cells and takes over the cell machinery, redirecting it to produce the virus.
Many Spore users have tried to create humans using the Creature Editor, but since the editor is not designed for that, their creations don't fit much of the appearance and behavior of a real-life human.
Endospores are virtually immortal, and can be re-activated, under favorable growth conditions, after lying dormant for hundreds or perhaps millions of years [53].
What happens if you breathe in a spore?
